We're on the hunt for a Baker/Bakery Assistant to join our crew, someone who can churn out fresh bread, cakes, muffins, and those cinnamon buns everyone keeps coming back for. Early mornings, warm ovens, good vibes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food production environment preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and food safety practices
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately, including scaling quantities
- Comfortable working early morning hours, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25kg (55 lbs), and work near hot ovens
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Good time-management skills, able to handle multiple items baking simultaneously
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one)
