About March at Eduardo’s
The month of March seems to have flown by very quickly. Can you believe camping season is already upon us?
March was Women’s History month. Here at Eduardo’s we celebrated with treats and trinkets for all our female colleagues. We recognize women as driving forces behind our operation and it’s important for us to highlight this whenever the opportunity arises.
In light of International Women’s Day we also embarked on an exciting collaboration to highlight the work of one of our close guests and longtime friends: Zoë Loefstok. Zoë has been dedicated to bringing holistic wellness practices to the island rooted in awareness, movement, and breath.
This year Zoë is embracing Beach Yoga on a much deeper level, inviting everyone to join her into serenity on Sundays at 8AM and Thursdays at 6PM at the Aruba KiteSurfing School for her magical yoga classes. One of our team members joined Zoë for yoga on the beach as well as a cacao ceremony at Zoë home. When she told us about the classes, she spoke with such positivity and awareness that we were left in awe.
Zoë’s committed to her mission of creating a space for others to reconnect and remember their true nature all while fostering and creating beautiful communities of like-minded souls. This includes yoga, kitesurfing, sound healing, meditation, moon rituals, cacao ceremonies, breathwork and lifestyle retreats.

March saw another collaboration that is very dear to our hearts; the work we’ve been doing with the Aruba Animal Shelter. We had the privilege of visiting the AAS at the beginning of the month, to learn more about the shelter and its operations. While the animals at the shelter seem to be taken care of very well, the shelter needs donations and regular volunteers to continue providing a haven for the animals.
The culture surrounding pets on the island seems to play a big role in the problems animal shelters across the island are facing. If dogs and cats are not spayed and neutered and are left to roam, they will continue having offspring which increases the amount of animals on the island by the dozens.
The focus of our campaign with the AAS is to increase the number of donations they receive and to educate our guests, friends and followers on the importance of spaying, neutering, adopting and creating a safe and healthy environment for pets at home.
Our campaign will feature two posts a week for the coming two months on our social media highlighting important information regarding the shelter and our furry friends.

Don’t forget that the Animal Shelter’s Easter Pet Fest is coming up on Saturday March 30th. There will be egg hunt games, adoption opportunities and donation drop offs. This year there will also be raffle tickets. We’re included in the prices! We hope you get a chance to visit.
